Peanut Butter and Honey Yogurt Dip

We have a fruit problem at our house. My daughter frequently asks for fruit, has one bite, and then says she’s finished. After cutting up trees worth of apples only to see them turn brown on her plate, I decided something needed to be done.

So I made a dip that’s so delicious she wants to eat all of her apples. The first time I made this for her, she ate two apples and then asked for a spoon to finish the rest.

This recipe is a cinch to make. Substitute Greek yogurt if you want a thick dip, or refrigerate it for a few hours before serving. Or be like us and happily gobble it up right after making it.

Yield: a generous half cup of dip

Peanut Butter and Honey Yogurt Dip


1 generous tablespoon raw honey
1/2 c. plain yogurt*
2 generous tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter**


1. Stir all the ingredients together. Chill if desired (for a slightly thicker dip) or eat right away.

*I use whole milk yogurt. Greek yogurt would be great, too. I'd avoid no fat yogurt.

**Look for minimally processed peanut butter. Ideally it should contain only peanuts (and maybe a pinch of salt). I love the texture crunchy peanut butter gives this dip, but creamy should work well, too.
